Melissa is originally from Los Angeles California, trading in her surf board for a mountain bike and snowboard. She is a lifelong athlete having played collegiate softball and volleyball. Melissa worked as a high school biology and physiology teacher for 10 years and has coached CrossFit and strength and conditioning since 2013. She really enjoyed working with the student athletes, helping them to build their physical strength and teaching them the mechanics of movement.
With a diverse background in education, athletics, and coaching, I bring a unique perspective to the field of massage therapy, coupled with a genuine passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals. I hope to provide natural solutions and body education that empower clients to achieve optimal health and happiness. True wellness goes beyond just the absence of pain; it is about feeling balanced, energized, and fully connected to your body. I believe the therapeutic benefits of massage and bodywork can help unlock your body’s potential to heal, restore, and rejuvenate. Massage therapy is much more than a luxurious indulgence; it is a powerful tool for improving both physical and emotional well-being.

Hobbies and Interests:
Volleyball, trail running, reading, Crossfit, lifting heavy weights, hiking and backpacking with my family. Have completed 50 and 100 mile ultra marathons. I love being out in nature and on the trails, that is my recharge time.
Massage Studio Space:
Having a massage studio in the home creates a cozy atmosphere that invites deep relaxation and healing. The space is thoughtfully designed for comfort, filled with soft lighting, plush linens, and soothing scents and sounds that will immediately put you at ease. Crystals are thoughtfully placed throughout the studio, their natural energy enhancing the therapeutic experience—amplifying calm, grounding the body, and promoting emotional balance. Unlike commercial settings, a home studio offers a unique sense of privacy and personal attention, allowing each session to feel unhurried and deeply nurturing. It’s a sacred, healing environment where both body and spirit are cared for with warmth and intention.
